Now in its third year, the Town of Victoria Park Arts Season showcases art and music throughout the region. There are nearly a dozen events running this weekend to suit a range of tastes. All events have access to indoor locations so weather shouldn’t prove to be an issue .

Mt Hawthorn Hawkers Markets—Friday April 20
Every Friday Axford Park fills up with over a dozen different vendors bringing you food from all around the world. The markets start at 5pm and cater to all palates, including vegetarians and vegans.
As an outdoor event, you might want to bring an umbrella.

Stella Donnelly & Alex the Astronaut—Friday April 21 and Saturday April 22
Two of Australia’s most exciting artists are co-headlining a tour around the country. They will be performing two shows in Western Australia – one at the Fremantle Arts Centre on Friday and one at The River in Margaret River on Saturday.
The Fremantle show is an outdoor performance and will likely be impacted by poor weather, but the Margaret River show is indoors.

Fairbridge Festival—Friday April 20 to Sunday April 22
Located in Fairbridge Village, 5km north of Pinjarra, Fairbridge Festival is Western Australia’s most popular family camping festival. It showcases music from around the world across a variety of music styles including blues, folk, acoustic and Celtic.
As a camping festival, most the festival is based outdoors and is subject to weather events.

Balingup Small Farm Field Day—Saturday April 21
The Balingup Small Farm Field Day has been running for over 25 years in the town of Balingup and showcases aspects of small farming, such as caring for land and animals, growing trees and food and cooking with fresh local ingredients.
The event is held on the town’s sport oval, so it is subject to weather changes.
