Fremantle train line closed this weekend

A Fremantle train line closure will cause transport issues for those attending the Wildcats and AFLW games this weekend.

The train line will be closed from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th of March in order to facilitate works, and will only resume for the first service on Monday morning.

Wildcats fans will have access to the line on the way to the Friday night game at RAC Arena, but not for the trip home.

AFLW fans will face similar issues on Saturday with no trains before or after the final game for the season.

The last train on Friday night will depart Perth for Fremantle at 7.30pm, while the last train from Fremantle will depart at 7.56pm.

Transperth released a statement announcing a train replacement bus route, numbered 906, will travel the full line during the closure.
