A man is in custody and police are again searching a home in Calista as investigations continue into the disappearance of a 70-year-old man.

Richard Andrews, 70, has not been seen since mid-August. Neighbours said he left for Albany five weeks ago and had not returned.

His travel plans are unknown because his vehicle was left in Perth. The investigation is being undertaken by the major crime squad.
