Brand new nature playground forts at Joondalup Primary School were badly damaged by vandals on Monday night, while walls were covered with lewd pictures and words.

The school’s P&C fundraising committee raised $4000 to fund the two forts, which were only completed in August.

The P&C  said on its Facebook page that arrangements were being made to repair or rebuild the equipment and police were investigating. The school refused to comment when contacted by Western Independent.

Some parents were upset the graffiti had not been removed before the students arrived for school.
