There is a chemical spill on the corner of Alexander Dr and Beach road in Malaga, owing to a “leaking drum” acording to the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.

The intersection has been closed.

Police are co-ordinating traffic and fire trucks are on the scene.

ChemCentre is investigating the substance. The Department of Environment is also on the scene.

Road closures include Beach Road from Crocker Drive to Honeywell Boulevard, and Alexander Drive from Carson Road to Capital Road.
