All indicators point to Donald Trump for President

All indicators point towards Donald Trump being the republican nominee for the US president with the election to be held later this year.

Senator Ted Cruz announced he was leaving the campaign on Tuesday night, clearing the way and removing the last major block in Donald Trump’s pursuit to become the Republican nominee for president.

Cruz’s decision came after significantly losing to Mr Trump in the Indiana primary.

“With a heavy heart, for the long term future of our nation we are suspending our campaign,” Ted Cruz said.

“But hear me now I’m not suspending our fight for liberty, I am not suspending our fight to defend the constitution, to defend the Christian values that built America, our movement will continue and I give you my word I will continue this fight with all my strength and all of my ability.”

Donald Trump has addressed the nation live with his family by his side after Cruz’s announcement.

“I want to make America great again,” Donald Trump said.

Donald said the people of Indiana have been incredible and thanked Bob Knight in particular.

“You know what they say about people like that, there aren’t many, it’s called tough and smart and they know how to win and that’s what a country needs, we have to win.

“We have to know how to win again and we haven’t won, we’ve been loosing all the time, we loose with our with our military, we can’t beat ISIS, we loose with trade, we loose with boarders, we loose with everything, we’re not going to loose, we’re going to start winning again and we’re going to win big league.”

It’s looking like a massive victory with 57 delegates for Mr Trump.

We’re going after Hillary Clinton, she will not be a great president she will not be a good president she will be a poor president, she doesn’t understand trade,” Donald said.

“I watched her three or four weeks ago when she was talking about the minors as if they were just numbers, talking about how she wants the mines closed and she will never let them work again.

“Let me tell you, the minors in West Virginia and Pennsylvania, which were so great to me last week, Ohio and all over are going to start to work again, there going to be proud to be minors again.”

Donald Trump said he’s competed all his life and that he’s a competitive person.

“All my life I’ve been in competitions, now for 10 months in politics and I have met some of the most incredible competitors that I have ever competed against right here on the Republican Party.

“So you understand, Ted Cruz, I don’t know if he likes me or if he doesn’t like me but he is one hell of a competitor and he is a tough smart guy and he has got an amazing future, so I want to congratulate Ted.”

Donald trump said he would focus on bringing our jobs back, straightening up how our veterans are treated and getting rid of the divide the country has.

“This country which is very divided in so many different ways is going become one beautiful loving country and we’re going to love each other, we’re going to treasure each other, we’re going to take care of each other and we’re going to have great economic development and we’re not going to let other countries take it away from us because that’s what’s been happening for far to many years and we’re not going to do it anymore,” Mr Trump said.

He said we’re the policemen for the world, we protect other countries and they don’t respect us and that’s not is not going to happen.

“They have to respect us and they have to understand where we’re coming from.

“It is a two way street and we’re going to meet in the middle and we’re going to have something that’s going to be really fabulous.”

“We’re going to have unbelievably good relationships with other countries but likewise they have to treat us fairly and they have to understand what we’ve been doing over the years is so wrong and unfair to the united states and to its people and to its tax payers, so that will change,” Trump said.

“I will tell you, there going to end up liking us better then they do right now, there going to respect us.”

Donald Trump said it had been an amazing evening and he didn’t expect this and what Ted did was a very brave thing.

“Everyone wants to get on the Trump train,” he said.

“There is no greater honor, we’re going to work together for many many years.

“We’re going to win, we’re going to win in November and we’re going to win big, it’s going to be America first.”
