Convoy of No Confidence

What started as opposition to government taxes has grown into a mass convoy that is expected to be even bigger by the time it reaches Parliament House in Canberra.

The last two groups of truck drivers set off from Perth today in the hope that their voices will be heard on number of issues, from the carbon tax to the live cattle ban.

The National Road Freighters Association Vice President, Darryl Pedersen, says he’s overwhelmed by the amount of support they have received.

The eleven groups of trucks, which have left from various locations around the country, are expected to arrive at the nation’s capital by Monday.
