Ignored Tower Concerns

Despite protests, a controversial Optus mobile tower is going to be built 200 metres from a primary school.

The West Australian Planning Commission has ignored health and visibility concerns and has given the go-ahead to Optus.

Kalamunda Shire Council Member GEOFF STALLARD does not believe the tower is totally safe and is worried about the casual attitude towards the possible radiation impact on children. (listen to audio)
