The West Australian Football Commission hopes the conviction of a Morley man, who assaulted a fellow parent, will show that violence at junior football games won’t be tolerated.
James Wilkes was today found guilty of head-butting Steven O’Halloran at an Under-12s football match between Morley-Bayswater and Coolbinia early last year.
The Commission’s Manager of Community Development Warren Nel says the verdict sends a strong message about behaviour at junior matches.
