Easter is a Christian holiday celebrating the rebirth of Jesus Christ. But about 30 per cent of Australians identified as non-religious in the 2016 census. Fortunately, there are plenty of events over the long weekend to entertain those who just see Easter as a chance to take a break.

Location and parking
Most performances will take place at several ‘pitches’ around Fremantle with other performers popping up in between.
A map of locations can be found here. http://www.streetartsfestival.com.au/map/
In addition to the normal carparks and street parking available in Fremantle, the City of Fremantle is opening a new 155-bay carpark on the Cappuccino Strip today. However, parking is still expected to be an issue over the Easter weekend so public transport is a more viable option.
Performers and locations
A calendar with all performances and locations can be found here. http://www.streetartsfestival.com.au/performance-times/
Most performances are free but some selected events with limited audiences require ticketing.
Mount Hawthorn Hawkers Market
