Ancient practice eases anxiety

Falun Gong is a traditional Chinese spiritual practice, a system of cultivation of mind and body health.

It combines meditation and Qigong exercises with a moral philosophy centred on the tenets of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.

Brendon Fallon, a digital cinema student at TAFE, used to experience stress and anxiety that prevented him from working and studying. By coincidence, he learned about Falun Gong through a brochure. It rapidly helped him to recover his mental health and to improve the quality of his life and relationships.

After seven years of practicing Falun Gong, Brendon shares his experiences of the practice.
