A man who escaped police custody from Pinjarra Police Station on Sunday has been detained.

Glen Salmon has been located on North Lake Road near Phoenix Road in Bibra Lake after being sighted at Cockburn Shopping Centre at 10.10am.

Salmon was last seen jumping a fence towards Cockburn Train Station.

WA Police thank you for your assistance.

Glen Salmon is now in police custody.
