Kensington detectives are seeking the public’s help after to find the person or people responsible for the bashing of a 33-year-old man.
The Cloverdale father-of-three was found semi-conscious in his Ford Falcon about 4am on April 4 in Welshpool. He was suffering from head and leg injuries and his car had also been damaged.
Police said his injuries were consistent with being assaulted by one or more offenders. A blunt object may also have been used in the attack.
The victim was taken to Royal Perth Hospital by ambulance and received treatment for a week. He requires ongoing treatment as an out-patient.
Kensington Detectives’ David Costello said the man had suffered a broken leg, an injury to his torso, and damage to his face and head that had caused bleeding on his brain.
He also said the victim’s memory of the incident was vague.
“Obviously [his family] are quite distressed,” he said, “it was a traumatic incident particularly for his children.”
He said there were no suspects.
