Former Liberal MP Dennis Jensen confirmed today he will run as an independent for the WA seat of Tangney at the Federal election.

Dr Jensen lost preselection for Tangney to the party’s former state director Ben Morton just days after extracts from his book, containing graphic sex scenes, were released.

He has since accused the party of branch stacking and leaking parts of the book to the media.

Dr Jensen has held the seat of Tangney since 2004.
