The 28-year-old Yanchep man died at Barbagallo Raceway when was riding in the State Road Racing Championships.

His motorcycle left the track, entered a sand patch and hit a tyre wall.

Chadbund was taken to Royal Perth Hospital but was unable to be revived.

Friends of the family have taken to social media to pay tribute to Chadbund and offer condolences to his wife Hayley.

“I’m sorry for your loss Hayley, such a great guy can’t even begin to imagine what you are going through xx,” Paul Cox said on Facebook.

“So Sorry for your loss Hayley.. Thoughts are with you and your family,” Wayne Maxwell said.

Friends have set up a crowdfunding page to help support his family, which has so far raised more than $8,000.

The accident comes after 24-year-old Cameron Elliott’s fatal crash on Christmas Day in 2009 at the same raceway.

Cameron’s father has since started a petition on Change.org calling for State Government funding to improve the raceway and remove the earth-moving tyres.

Mr Elliott said his son’s death could have been prevented if the barrier was a sand bank.
