A 43-year-old man has been arrested after a firearm incident in Stoneville last night.

A 25-year-old woman found the man in her backyard after hearing her dogs barking.

The man threatened to shoot her dogs and fired two rounds toward the dogs, who were uninjured.

The man has been charged with being armed to cause fear and will appear in the Midland Magistrates Court on May 24.
