This photo essay is an exploration into a day in the life of four students who work and study full time.
Student life is hard, but what about those students who do it harder – the ones who manage to juggle a full time university course load and a full time work schedule?
How do they do it?
Danielle Jenner attends Notre Dame University and runs her own remedial massage therapy business.
Jamie Tunbridge is a full time, online student who attends Murdoch University and has three jobs.
Danielle Thomas works 40 to 60 hours a week and is completing a double degree in Law and Arts at Edith Cowan University. She says she burns out a lot from working such long hours, sometimes up to three weeks straight, twelve hours a day.
Stacey Lyon is completing a Management Diploma at Central TAFE. She says: “It is very stressful to work and study full time, I run myown business, see all my own clients and pay all of my own taxes.”
I look up to these students because of their ability to multi-task and organise themselves in a methodical manner to achieve their goals …
