More than 2100 kilometres away from another city with a population greater than 100,000, Perth is one of the world’s most isolated metropolises.
Seen from the sandy banks of the Swan River, the lights of the city skyline burn bright year round, dispelling a local urban myth that Perth is the city that always sleeps.
