Gaff back for grand final rematch

Andrew Gaff is back in the West Coast Eagles line-up for the grand final rematch against Collingwood this Saturday.

Gaff sat out eight AFL games, including the 2019 grand final, after he was suspended for punching Fremantle Dockers midfielder Andrew Brayshaw in round 20 last year.

The Eagles will also be fielding its third debut player of the 2019 season, 21-year-old defender Josh Rotham.

Rotham will replace defender Liam Duggan, who is sitting out with a minor knee injury.

Premiership forward Jamie Cripps is set to return from a toe injury, while young duo Daniel Venables and Josh Smith have been omitted from the side.

West Coast has opted to leave out veteran defender Will Schofield, who played a pivotal role in shutting down Jordan De Goey in last year’s grand final.

The Saturday night blockbuster kicks off at 7.25pm WST at the MCG.
