Fire destroys Gnangara house and rare car

A garage fire destroyed four cars and caused about $200,000 damage at a Gnangara property this morning.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services is investigating the fire, which destroyed a garage and store room on Colonial Circle.

A DFES spokeswoman said the fire was reported at 4.15am, and was brought under control within an hour.

Nobody was home at the time.

The fire caused damage to four cars within the garage, including a rare $100,000 Ford, which was destroyed.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
