Police are looking to speak to anyone who may have information about the death of 42-year-old Alan George Taylor after an investigation determined his death was suspicious.

Mr Taylor’s body was found by police when they were called to his home in Arnos Way, Girrawheen about 4.45pm on April 22.

Major Crime Squad Det-Sgt. Dean Lampard said Mr Taylor had suffered significant injuries that indicated a high-level of violence was involved in his death.

It is believed a weapon was used but police have not confirmed what type of weapon they are looking for.

Officers have conducted a forensic examination of the crime scene and knocked on doors in the Girrawheen area as part of their investigation.

Det-Sgt. Lampard said there was no evidence to suggest Mr Taylor was involved in any illegal activity.

Mr Taylor lived with his three-year-old son and female ex-partner.

His partner today released a photograph of Mr Taylor in the hope someone will recognise him and be able to assist with the investigation.

Several other people lived in the house with Mr Taylor, but police have not revealed their identities.
