Bankwest says it has resolved an issue which left employees of Curtin University without their wages this morning.

Curtin University staff members recieved an email which told them their fortnightly wages had not been paid.
“Many people have noticed this morning that the pay they were expecting to see in their account today isn’t there yet,” the email said.
“… Bankwest have just advised us the problem is in their system and they have a team trying to fix it now and anticipate resolution before midday today.”
Bankwest would not say whether employees of other businesses and institutions had been affected by the glitch.
“There was an issue with a small number of payment files being delayed by several hours,” a Bankwest spokesman said.
“Our technical teams worked on this as a top priority and have now resolved the issue.
“These payment files are now being processed and customers should expect to receive their funds later today or tonight, depending on their financial institution’s processing times”.
