The founder of the Palmer United Party, Mr Palmer told Federal Parliament this morning that he hoped to continue serving the country in the future.
“I believe I have the courage today to leave the House of Representatives, satisifed with what Palmer United has done knowing it would be a different Australia if we hadn’t stopped the 2014 Budget in the Newman Government in Queenland,” he said.
“We need to unite this nation we serve.”
