The Fremantle Football Club website is a sports news site which I turn to for up-to-date clubs news, videos and behind-the-scene action.

What I find particularly interesting is the Captain’s blog to the fans. Matthew Pavlich regularly writes to the fans and supporters on the progress of the club and what has being going on with his life outside of football.

The career of an AFL footballer is not that well-known to the public.

The use of the team colours and popular players on the homepage create an interesting, appealing site to look at and navigate to other links and stories.

The visual aspect of a news website is very important, particularly with sports news because viewers want a fun, easy-to-use site to find what they want quickly.

The links on the homepage are really quite useful as they provide stories written by leading journalists and the club’s own media team.

The additional links to other sporting websites provide a detailed insight into the weekly “run down” of the AFL rounds, other club news, fixtures and ladder results.
