The State Government has axed its residential feed-in tariff scheme for being too popular.
Energy Minister Peter Collier suspended the scheme today despite more than 65 thousand homes using it to generate their own electricity.
Payments will continue for households already signed up.
Greens Spokesperson on Energy ROBIN CHAPPLE called on Minister Collier to provide certainty for the solar industry.
