Violent assaults escalate in Northbridge

BY MICHAEL McCARREN

Following the assault of Swan Districts Footballer Luke Adams, the issue of violence and anti-social behaviour in Northbridge is a concern for everyone.

After being punched in Northbridge, the 19-year-old footballer spent more than two weeks in hospital and was moved out of intensive care on 18 May.

The escalating rate of violence in Northbridge is significant compared with other nightspot areas such as the city, Subiaco and Leederville.
