Breakthrough in fight to protect Langley Park

Perth’s Langley Park has been added to the heritage list after 7,890 people have signed a petition to protect the city landmark.

Heritage Entitlement for Langley Park members produced the petition after their campaign.

Heritage Minister John Castrilli says the Office of Heritage will work towards Langley Park’s permanent entry on the register.

According to Mr Castrilli, the Office of Heritage will liaise with the City of Perth to develop an agreed management framework to clarify the matters that need to be referred to the Heritage Council for advice.
