“Show Us Your Ocean” is a community-based project to improve people’s appreciation of the sea through photoelicitation.
The Curtin University Sustainability Policy Institute has committed S14,000 a year for the study on Western Australians’ understanding of marine life.
Key researcher Steve Andrews says the project has involved young students taking photos underwater and aims to mend the disconnect people feel in the sea.
