The Queen’s trip to the Republic of Ireland today marks the first visit by a British monarch in one hundred years.
The visit is a sign of the improving relationship between Britain and Ireland…since the signing of the Good Friday Agreement in 1998.
The Queen’s journey across the Irish Sea also indicates a normalisation of politics in the state of Northern Ireland.
